1. Legal Framework
This Return Policy is established in accordance with:
Law 2251/1994 on Consumer Protection, as amended by Law 4933/2022,
Presidential Decree 131/2003, implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights,
and all other relevant provisions of Greek and European legislation governing distance sales and e-commerce.
2. General Terms
The following terms apply exclusively to purchases made through the online store chanigravias.com.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted this policy.
3. Right of Withdrawal (Articles 3e–3i of Law 2251/1994)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, without providing any reason and without incurring any costs other than the return shipping fees — except where the law specifically excludes such right (see Article 3i, paragraph 1).
4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
According to Article 3i(1) of Law 2251/1994, no right of withdrawal applies in the following cases:
Perishable or rapidly expiring products, such as foodstuffs, beverages, or traditional edible goods (e.g., sweets, honey, olive oil, herbs, liqueurs, etc.).
Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which have been unsealed after delivery.
Customized or personalized products made according to the consumer’s specifications.
Gift or souvenir items that have been damaged, used, or altered after delivery.
In all such cases, sales are considered final and non-returnable.
5. Conditions for Accepted Returns
Products may be returned only if:
They are in their original, unused and unopened condition.
They include all original packaging and proof of purchase.
The customer has submitted a valid withdrawal notice within the 14-day period.
The company reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.
6. Withdrawal Procedure
The customer must send a written withdrawal declaration by email to info@chanigravias.com within 14 days of receipt.
Within 14 days from the withdrawal notice, the product must be returned to:

After inspection of the returned product, the company will refund the corresponding amount within 14 days, using the same payment method originally used (unless otherwise agreed).
7. Defective or Incorrect Products
If the customer receives a defective or incorrect product, they must notify the company within 48 hours of receipt at info@chanigravias.com.
In such cases, the company will cover all return or replacement costs, in accordance with Article 534 of the Greek Civil Code.
8. Customer Responsibility
The customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
In such cases, the refund amount may be reduced proportionally.
9. Exclusion for Business Purchases
This policy applies only to individual consumers (natural persons).
Orders issued with an invoice for businesses or legal entities are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
10. Amendments
The company reserves the right to amend this Return Policy at any time.
Any updated version will be published on chanigravias.com/returns-policy and shall take effect upon posting.
